How to use it
- Pick the start date (today by default).
- Choose add or subtract.
- Enter the number and choose the unit: days, working days (Monday to Friday), weeks, months or years.
How it works
- Days and weeks are simply counted on the calendar (1 week = 7 days).
- Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays are not skipped, because they differ by state and company.
- Months and years keep the same day of the month. If that day doesn't exist, the last day of the month is used: 31 January + 1 month = 28 February (or 29 in a leap year).
Examples
- 1 January 2026 + 90 days = Wednesday, 1 April 2026
- Friday, 25 September 2026 + 10 working days = Friday, 9 October 2026 (14 calendar days)
- 31 January 2026 + 1 month = 28 February 2026
FAQ
Is the start date counted?
No. Adding 1 day to 1 January gives 2 January. To count days between two dates, including or excluding the end date, use the date difference calculator.
How do I find a date 30 days before a date?
Choose "Subtract", enter 30 and choose days.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. February has 29 days in leap years such as 2028, and the calculator uses the real calendar.
